China Aster Syringa | Callistephus chinensis

Exceptional XXL blooms with refined chrysanthemum-like form – elegance, strength, and beauty combined.

China Aster ‘Syringa’ (Callistephus chinensis) is a premium annual variety celebrated for its luxurious, densely petaled flowers that resemble chrysanthemums – yet are even more exquisite. Each bloom features perfectly layered petals, creating a lush, full form and an unforgettable garden presence.

This outstanding aster produces extra-large blossoms (12–15 cm in diameter) on strong, upright stems reaching 60–70 cm tall. The plants develop a harmonious pyramidal habit with robust branching, providing multiple florist-quality stems ideal for professional cut flower production or decorative garden borders.

The Syringa series stands out with exceptional durability, long vase life, and unmatched flower quality, surpassing previous generations of asters in performance and beauty. Whether in the field or the vase, its refined form and vibrant color palette make it an indispensable choice for every grower and designer seeking premium summer and autumn flowers.
