Planting Instructions

Step 1 – Soak the Corms

Before planting, soak the corms in room-temperature water for 1–2 hours. As they absorb water, they will expand and rehydrate, promoting faster root development and stronger growth.

Pre-sprouting (Highly Recommended)

Pre-sprouting encourages earlier flowering, stronger plants, and higher success rates.

• Fill a shallow tray halfway with lightly moist potting compost.
• Place the soaked corms on the surface with the claws pointing downward.
• Cover lightly with compost.
• Keep the tray in a cool place at 8–12°C.
• Keep the compost slightly moist but never wet.
• After 10–14 days, roots will begin to develop.
