Euphorbia graminea Glamour F1 | Grassleaf Spurge
Glamour F1 is an airy, finely textured Euphorbia covered with masses of tiny white flowers throughout the growing season. Its light, cloud-like appearance creates an effect similar to Baby’s Breath (Gypsophila) and brings softness, movement and texture to garden plantings.
Glamour F1 is particularly well suited to planting directly in garden beds and borders. It is vigorous, early to flower and able to perform well through a range of weather conditions. Best variety for in-ground performance.
It looks especially beautiful planted between larger, more boldly textured flowering plants, where its small white flowers create a delicate, cloud-like contrast.

How to Grow Glamour F1 from Seed
Glamour F1 is best started indoors and transplanted into the garden once the young plants are established.
Sow into a fine, moist seed-starting substrate. For home sowing, place 1 seed per cell or small module.
The breeder indicates that covering the seed is optional, so the seeds can be left on the surface or covered only very lightly with fine vermiculite.
Maintain approximately 18–22°C during germination. Under suitable conditions, germination is relatively quick, with approximately 3–6 days from 50% to maximum germination.
Avoid temperatures below 16°C while raising the young plants, as cooler conditions can cause yellowing of the foliage. Young plants are generally ready after approximately 3–4 weeks, with another 5–8 weeks from transplanting to a finished plant.
Planting and Growing
Plant Glamour F1 in a sunny position, leaving approximately 36–41 cm between plants.
Once established, the plants develop into soft, airy mounds approximately 38–61 cm high and wide.
Glamour F1 is vigorous and naturally well branched. Pinching is not necessary. The breeder recommends keeping plants above 16°C during production and notes that warmer temperatures and higher light levels can shorten the crop time.
A Beautiful Alternative to Baby’s Breath
One of the most attractive characteristics of Glamour F1 is its light, cloud-like appearance.
The tiny white flowers create an effect reminiscent of Baby’s Breath (Gypsophila), but on a vigorous, mounded garden plant. The breeder specifically recommends using Glamour among stronger-growing plants or weaving it through annual plantings to create a soft, cloud-like effect.
It works particularly well alongside large or strongly textured annual flowers, where its delicate white flowers soften the overall planting.
Annual or Perennial?
Glamour F1 is a tender perennial in warm, frost-free climates, but in colder climates it is grown as an annual.
This makes it an excellent choice for seasonal garden beds, borders and large mixed containers, where it can flower continuously throughout the growing season.
Why Grow Glamour F1?
Glamour F1 is an excellent choice when you want a plant that adds lightness, texture and a soft white cloud of flowers rather than one dominant flower shape.
It combines early flowering, vigorous growth and good performance in changing weather conditions, and is particularly well suited to in-ground garden planting.
