Tulip ‘Sweet Valley’ | Fosteriana Tulip | Early–Mid Spring Bloom
Fresh, refined, and beautifully unusual, Tulipa 'Sweet Valley' is a stunning Fosteriana tulip celebrated for its creamy layered blooms and elegant green brushed petals. This sophisticated spring tulip combines soft romantic colouring with strong garden performance, creating an effortlessly luxurious display in borders, containers, and floral arrangements.
The lightly double flowers emerge in glowing shades of creamy vanilla, pale butter-yellow, and soft ivory, delicately accented by elongated green outer petals that frame each bloom beautifully. As the flowers mature, the warm golden tones intensify slightly, creating depth and a luminous watercolor-like effect across the petals. The subtle layering and gently divided petals give Tulip ‘Sweet Valley’ a graceful peony-inspired appearance while still maintaining the elegant silhouette of a classic tulip.
Blooming from early to mid-spring on sturdy stems reaching approximately 40 cm, this Fosteriana tulip is valued for its reliable flowering, weather resistance, and perennial nature. Its broad deep-green foliage creates a lush backdrop that enhances the soft glowing flowers even further.
Derived from wild tulips native to Central Asia, Fosteriana tulips are known for their strength, early flowering habit, and excellent ability to naturalise. Tulip ‘Sweet Valley’ returns beautifully year after year and blends effortlessly with white tulips, soft yellows, narcissus, forget-me-nots, anemones, and fresh spring greenery.
Its elegant neutral palette and artistic flower form make this variety especially beautiful in romantic spring gardens and luxury florist work.
