Sowing Instructions
Sow seeds 8–10 weeks before the last expected frost or throughout the year for greenhouse production.
Surface sow the pelleted seeds and do not cover, as light is required for germination. Maintain temperatures of 18–21°C (64–70°F).
Seedlings are typically ready for transplanting after 4–5 weeks.
For outdoor production, sow from February to May for flowering later the same season, or sow during August to September to overwinter for blooms the following year.
Growing Tips
Plant in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil.
Campagne naturally develops excellent branching, producing large numbers of flowering stems with outstanding uniformity and continuous flowering.
After the first flush of blooms, cut plants back to ground level to encourage fresh growth and repeated flowering.
In mild climates, plants may overwinter and continue flowering in subsequent seasons.
Harvest
Harvest stems when approximately 75% of the flowers on each spray are fully open for the longest vase life and best post-harvest quality.
For dried flowers, harvest when all flowers on the spray have fully opened.
