Punakosmoskukka | Cosmos bipinnatus siemenet

Punakosmoskukka (Cosmos bipinnatus), jota kutsutaan myös nimillä kosmoskukka tai mexikonasteri, on yksi helpoimmista ja palkitsevimmista kesäkukista kasvattaa. Sen sirot, harsomaiset lehdet ja runsaat, daisy-mäiset kukat valkoisen, vaaleanpunaisen, purppuran ja karmiinin sävyissä tuovat keveyttä ja väriä kukkapenkkeihin ja kukkakimppuihin.

Nopeakasvuinen ja helppohoitoinen punakosmoskukka kukkii kesäkuusta aina ensimmäisiin pakkasiin asti. Mitä enemmän kukkia leikkaat, sitä enemmän uusia kukkia kasvi tuottaa – todellinen leikkaa ja kasvaa uudelleen -kasvi!

Kasvi viihtyy parhaiten aurinkoisella, tuulensuojaisella paikalla ja hyvin vettä läpäisevässä maassa. Se houkuttelee mehiläisiä ja perhosia, joten se on erinomainen valinta luonnonmukaisiin ja pölyttäjäystävällisiin puutarhoihin.
