Kiinanasteri Juwel | Callistephus chinensis

Näyttävät, suuret kukat ja upea väri.
Kiinanasteri Juwel erottuu edukseen erityisen suurilla, neulamaisista terälehdistä koostuvilla kukillaan (pincushion-tyyppi), joiden halkaisija on jopa 10–14 cm. Kukan alkuvaiheessa tiiviit terälehdet muodostavat pyöreän, tyynymäisen muodon, joka avautuu vähitellen näyttäviksi, hieman kaareutuviksi kukiksi.

Kasvi kasvaa 60–75 cm korkeaksi ja muodostaa 7–9 vahvaa vartta, jotka soveltuvat erinomaisesti leikkokukiksi. Juwel-sarja on tunnettu pitkäkestoisista kukista, vahvoista varsista ja sen elegantista ulkonäöstä puutarhassa.
