Коллекция: China Aster Harlekin | Callistephus chinensis

Playful color contrasts, strong stems, and vintage charm – a radiant aster for romantic summer and autumn bouquets.

China Aster ‘Harlekin’ (Callistephus chinensis) is a joyful and richly colored variety that captures the essence of late-summer gardens. These waist-high plants (65–70 cm) produce an abundance of large, textured blooms (5–6 cm diameter) on strong, straight stems — perfect for cutting and arranging.

Each flower displays a unique “harlequin” contrast, with bright outer petals encircling a soft, pale-yellow center of tubular florets. The blossoms appear in vivid shades of rose, violet, purple, and lilac, standing out beautifully against the deep green foliage and chocolate-colored stems.

Thanks to its pyramidal growth habit and prolific flowering, each plant can yield 20 or more stems, offering a generous harvest for continuous cutting or lush, ready-made bouquets. The intense green leaves enhance the plant’s healthy, vital appearance, making it as decorative in the garden as it is valuable in the vase.

Ideal for romantic Biedermeier-style arrangements, florist work, and natural summer bouquets, Aster ‘Harlekin’ brings life, color, and old-world elegance to every composition.
