How to Grow from Seed

Double Zahara™ Raspberry Ripple is an easy-to-grow annual zinnia that develops quickly in warm conditions.

Sow 1 seed per cell or small pot in a fine, moist seed-starting substrate. Cover the seed lightly with a thin layer of substrate or vermiculite.

Keep the substrate evenly moist during germination without making it excessively wet.

The recommended temperature during the first germination stage is approximately 20–23°C. The breeder's technical schedule lists 2–3 days from 50% to maximum germination; this does not represent the complete period from sowing until the first seedlings emerge.

Allow approximately 3 weeks for young plant development.

Harden the seedlings gradually and transplant outdoors once the risk of frost has passed and conditions are warm.
