Petunia x hybrida 'Sophistica® Antique Shades' F1 | Unique, Grandiflora Blooms
Petunia grandiflora Sophistica Antique Shades F1 is an exquisite variety featuring large, ruffled flowers in soft watercolor shades of pink and yellow. Blooming from June until the first frost, this petunia is ideal for borders, flower beds, and container gardening, adding a sophisticated and vintage charm to any setting.
With a compact, mounded habit, this variety reaches a height of 30 cm (12 in) and spreads up to 35 cm (14 in). It thrives in pots, hanging baskets, and containers, either as a standalone feature or alongside Ornamental Tobacco, Vepita Verbena, Dichondra, or Reed Canary Grass for a striking contrast.
Native to South America, Petunia grandiflora belongs to the Solanaceae family, sharing its botanical heritage with Ornamental Tobacco and even potatoes! These annual plants produce bell-shaped, velvety flowers on elongated stems, with dark green, slightly pubescent leaves.
