Narcissus 'Ladea' | Large Cupped Daffodil

A poetic beauty that matures with grace, Narcissus 'Ladea' begins her spring performance with a striking golden-yellow trumpet and creamy yellow petals. As the days go by, her bold tones soften to a gentle pastel harmony, creating a display that feels both uplifting and serene. This large-cupped variety is perfect for naturalizing in borders, pots, or wild garden plantings.

A true perennial favorite, 'Ladea' is reliable, long-lasting, and deer-resistant. She blooms in early to mid-spring, bringing joyful color to your garden when it’s most welcome.

Harvesting & Vase Life:

For cut flower use, harvest when buds are just about to open (gooseneck stage) for the longest vase life. Important: Daffodils release a slimy sap that can harm other flowers in mixed arrangements. To “condition” the stems, place freshly cut daffodils in a separate bucket for 3–4 hours before arranging with other flowers. Do not recut stems after conditioning.

  • Vase life: Approx. 7 days
  • Scent: Mild
  • Tip: Use daffodils alone in a bouquet for the safest results.
