Kategorie: Silene pendula Sibella Series | Nodding Catchfly

The Silene Sibella Series is a charming and versatile selection of Silene pendula, valued for its compact growth and masses of delicate, brightly colored flowers. This innovative series features a unique spreading habit, forming low cushions that quickly cover beds, borders, and containers with a carpet of cheerful blooms.

Perfect for early-season colour, Sibella begins flowering early and continues through the warmer months. The small, star-shaped flowers appear in abundance above fresh green foliage, creating a soft, natural look that works beautifully in cottage-style plantings, patio containers, and hanging baskets.

Thanks to its hardy nature, Sibella can be grown as a cold crop alongside pansies and other spring-flowering plants. When overwintered in a cold glasshouse, it produces especially early blooms in spring. Plants also perform well from spring sowing and tolerate both sunny and lightly shaded positions in the garden.

Compact, easy to grow, and extremely floriferous, Silene Sibella Series is an excellent choice for gardeners looking to add early colour and texture to borders, containers, and baskets.
