Tagetes erecta | Marigold Big Duck® Yellow

A natural, semi-dwarf variety with huge double flowers. Big Ducks are beautiful on their own or when grouped in large pots, beds or landscaping situations. These Marigolds offer a spectacular “Carpet-Like” spread. Big Ducks are extremely heat tolerant.

To maximize growth and flowering, the recommended method is to transplant the seeds into 72-cell flats 4-6 weeks before the last frost. Alternatively, for those looking to plant directly, seeds can be sown 1/4" deep after the last frost. For optimal blooming in packs, sow 8 weeks before the desired bloom time and encourage branching by pinching the plants.
