Salvia farinacea Victoria White | Mealy Sage

Salvia farinacea ‘Victoria White’, also known as White Mealy Cup Sage, is an elegant and reliable annual prized for its pure white flower spikes and silvery-green stems. Graceful, upright spires of tubular flowers rise above compact, bushy foliage, creating a fresh, airy look in garden beds, borders, and containers.

This variety forms a neat mound around 45 cm (18″) tall and is highly valued by flower growers and florists alike. The long-lasting stems are excellent for both fresh arrangements and dried flowers. For drying, harvest stems at full bloom and hang upside down in a dark, dry, well-ventilated space; flowers retain their structure beautifully once dried.

Victoria White is easy to grow, deer resistant, and blooms continuously through summer. As a member of the mint family (Lamiaceae), salvia produces nectar-rich flowers that attract pollinators such as bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, making it a wonderful addition to wildlife-friendly gardens.
