Amberboa moschata ‘The Bride’ | Sweet Sultan

A true standout among hardy annuals, Amberboa moschata ‘The Bride’ belongs to the same Centaurea family as cornflowers—but with larger, more dramatic blooms and far stronger, less tangled stems. The creamy white, feathery flowers resemble soft goose down, opening from beautifully patterned buds reminiscent of turtle shells, often with subtle pineapple-like markings.

Highly valued as a cut flower, ‘The Bride’ lasts exceptionally well in the vase and carries a gentle, sweet fragrance. Best grown in full sun with well-drained soil, it dislikes wet feet or prolonged warm, rainy weather—but in normal early summer conditions, it is an absolute gem.
