Helipterum roseum ‘Pierrot’ Red | Everlasting Pierrot

Unique black-and-pink everlasting · Fresh & dried cut flower

Helipterum roseum ‘Pierrot’ Red (botanically Rhodanthe chlorocephala) is a striking everlasting flower prized for its bold black and bright yellow central ring, surrounded by crisp white, papery petals. The strong contrast creates a graphic, eye-catching look that makes this variety exceptional for dried flower work and modern floral design.

The upward-facing, daisy-like blooms measure approximately 3–5 cm and are produced abundantly on thin, wiry stems. While not ideal as a fresh cut flower—blooms naturally close at night and reopen during the day—this variety truly shines when dried. Once dried, the flowers remain flat, open, and beautifully structured, retaining their colour and texture for months.

Plants are basally branching and highly productive, making Helipterum ‘Pierrot’ Red a reliable choice for growers focused on dried flower harvests. Even small plantings can yield large numbers of stems throughout the season.

With a plant height of around 50 cm, this variety is best suited for dried bouquets, wreaths, installations, and floral crafts, rather than long-stem bouquet production.

Helipterum is also known as Acroclinium, Immortelle, Paper Daisy, Australian Everlasting, or Everlasting Daisy.
